SANTA CLARITA VALLEY, Calif. — Saugus Union School District recently hosted a Ground Breaking ceremony for Tesoro del Valle Elementary School in Santa Clarita Valley’s premiere masterplanned community, Tesoro del Valle. Approximately 100 people, including the Mayor of Santa Clarita, Bob Kellar, 5th District County Supervisor Michael Antonovich, as well as several members of the Santa Clarita City Council and other prominent city and government officials, district managers and representatives from Sun Cal, developers of Tesoro del Valle, turned out for the official Ground Breaking ceremony on February 4th. Supervisor Antonovich spoke briefly, along with the Mayor, City Council member Marsha McLean, and District President Jonathan Myl, expressing their support of Tesoro del Valle and the new school it will bring to the community.
